Mr. Lungu is Associate Professor at UTCB (Technical University for Civil Engineering Bucharest), graduating as PhD engineer in 2004, being visiting student as well at Paris XII Val de Marne University, France.
He is invited professor at the University of Economic Studies in Bucharest, at the Technical Military Academy in Bucharest and at the Ecole Nationale Superieure de l’Energie, l’Eau et l’Environment ENSE 3 (Grenoble, France).
He is vice-dean of the Building Services Engineering Faculty (www.instalatii.utcb.ro), vice-president of AIIR (www.aiiro.ro) and vice-president of REHVA (www.rehva.eu). Between 2016 and May 2019 he led the team organizing the largest scientific HVAC congress ever held in Romania: CLIMA 2019 (www.clima2019.org). He is specialized in Dynamic Modelling of HVAC systems and buildings, Renewable Energy, nZE Buildings.
He was/is scientific director of 3 research projects and member in other 4. He is (co-)author of 5 books and more than 40 articles.
